Size Guide

Costume sizing isn't like everyday clothing — it varies by brand, style and even by individual costume. That's why every product page lists its own fit (for example, "Adult Large, size 40-48" or "One size fits most kids 4-6x"). Always check the Features section of the costume you're looking at before choosing a size.

How to take your measurements

Grab a soft measuring tape and wear light clothing. If someone can help you, the numbers will be more accurate.

Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape level under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Breathe normally — don't puff up or hold your breath.
Waist: Measure around the natural waistline (the narrowest part of the torso, usually just above the belly button). Keep the tape snug but not tight.
Hips: Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat.
Height: Stand straight against a wall without shoes. Measure from the floor to the top of the head.
Inseam (for pants): Measure from the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to where you'd like the hem to fall.

Tips for choosing a costume size

Compare your measurements to the fit listed on the product page. If you fall between two sizes, most people prefer the larger one — costumes are usually worn over other clothing.
Santa suits and jackets are often listed by jacket/chest size (for example, 50-56). Match your chest measurement to that range.
For kids' costumes, height is usually the best guide, since children of the same age can vary a lot in size.
Toddler and baby sizes are often listed by age range (for example, 18-24 months). Use your child's current height and weight, not just their age.
"One size fits most" items are typically designed to fit a standard adult (or child) range — check the product description for the specific range given.
