How to take your measurements
Grab a soft measuring tape and wear light clothing. If someone can help you, the numbers will be more accurate.
- Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape level under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Breathe normally — don't puff up or hold your breath.
- Waist: Measure around the natural waistline (the narrowest part of the torso, usually just above the belly button). Keep the tape snug but not tight.
- Hips: Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat.
- Height: Stand straight against a wall without shoes. Measure from the floor to the top of the head.
- Inseam (for pants): Measure from the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to where you'd like the hem to fall.
